Product description

Tunnelinject 2k 6822 lv - Low viscosity, fast reacting, two component polyurethane injection resin. Designed for sealing and sealing structures with high head or water pressure.

Fields of application
  • Sealing water leaks with high water inflow in mines, tunnels, dams, canals, quarries, mines, etc.
  • Stabilization and sealing of boreholes, porous rocks, sand, soil, brick and concrete structures.

  • After injection, it reacts due to mixing in the pump. Penetrates into porous rock or concrete structure to be reinforced (self-injection principle).
Application
  • Store both components for at least 12 hours prior to use in a room with a minimum ambient temperature of +15°C. The application temperature of both components is between +15°C and +30°C.
  • Component A and B of the PC® Tunnelinject 2K 6822 LV are supplied ready to use.
  • They are introduced in a volume ratio of 1:1. Use a two component pump with a static inline mixer.
  • For short stops between two injections, the static mixer must be flushed with component A.
  • When pumped, PC® Tunnelinject 2K 6822 LV reacts with a pumping effect. As a result, the resin itself is pushed into the porous rock or concrete structure, which must be sealed (self-injection principle). The low viscosity of the mixture guarantees sealing of very fine cracks. The fast setting of the material provides effective and efficient sealing of high pressure water leaks.

CLEANING

  • Clean the pump and equipment with PC® Ecoclean at every stop of more than 15 minutes, and also at the end of pumping work.
  • When cleaning agent comes out of the pipes, flush them with a sufficient amount of cleaning agent.
  • Use PC® PU cleaner to remove cured polyurethane residue.
Storage

Store in tightly closed original packaging at temperatures from +10°C to +30°C.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from fire hazard areas and containers with strong oxidizers, alkalis and inorganic acids. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

Warranty period of storage in the manufacturer's container is 12 months.

Storage beyond the date indicated on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer suitable. But if the shelf life is exceeded, it is necessary to check the properties of the product before use.

Packaging

Component A: Metal pails with a capacity of 21.5 kg;
Component B: Metal pails with a capacity of 24.50 kg.

Safety information

Wear safety goggles, gloves and protective clothing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes: rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin: rinse with plenty of water.

The B component of PC® Tunnelinject 2K 6822 LV may react with water or atmospheric moisture to form CO2 gas. This may cause pressure to build up in a closed package or container that has already been opened.

Mix PC® Tunnelinject 2K 6822 LV residue with sand and dispose of this mixed material in accordance with local regulations.
