Skip to content Silicone crème 502 is water-soluble hydrophobizing cream based on silane, solvent-free.
Water-repellent crème Silicone crème 502 is used for impregnation and priming of concrete and reinforced concrete, used for construction of bridges, roads, buildings and constructions.
Surface preparation: New surfaces must be cleaned of large particles and dust by sweeping or blowing with compressed air. Old surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned: remove flaking particles that are loosely bonded to the substrate, remove dust and other contaminants. It is recommended to clean the surface with high pressure washers, steam cleaner, water jet or mechanically. After wet cleaning, allow the surface to dry.
It is recommended to apply the product on a dry, clean, dust-free surface.
Concrete cannot be treated with the product for at least four weeks after its manufacture, to prevent affecting on its hardening.
The application method at surface treatment:
The cream is applied by airless method, undiluted, providing desired thickness with a paintbrush, roller or spatula.
The consumption depends on the porosity of the material being processed. Silicone crème 502 in the amount of up to 400 g/m² can be applied at once to vertical surfaces and roofs without loss of material.
The cream should not contact directly with bitumen.
It is recommended to use in dry weather at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C.
In case of unexpected rain, it is necessary to cover already impregnated surfaces and to stop further processing.
The active ingredient silane penetrates into the material from 30 minutes to several hours, the exact time depends on the porosity and, consequently, on the quality of the concrete.
Store in original containers at temperature from +5°С to +30°С in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, protect from moisture and direct sunlight, away from heaters.
Guaranteed shelf life - 6 months.
Do not store in containers painted inside, or containers made of aluminum or other light metals.
Storage over the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean the product is unusable. In case, if store more please check the properties of product before use.
