Skip to content Water-repellent silicone liquid SL 90/10 it is a solvent-free mixture of silane and siloxane suitable for dilution with a solvent.
SL 90/10 solution diluted in an organic solvent is a high-quality general-purpose water-repellent agent for impregnating and priming mineral bases and strongly alkaline substrates.
Water repellant SL 90/10 is used to impart water-repellent properties to absorbent, porous carriers and mineral construction materials, such as:
• Masonry
• Mineral artificial and natural stones
• Foam concrete
• Sand-lime brick
• Fibre-reinforced concrete
• Mineral paints
• All types of concrete
Mineral plaster SL 90/10 can also be used as a primer for outdoor paints.
Silicone fluid SL 90/10 cannot be used to water-repel gypsum.

Surface preparation: Remove loose particles loosely attached to the base, remove dust and other contaminants. It is recommended to clean the surface using high pressure washers, a steam cleaner, a water jet or mechanically, to remove dust. After wet cleaning, allow the surface to dry. May be applied to damp but free from visible water surface.
Before use, it is recommended to carry out trial processing on a small area of the surface or on a single element.
We cover the surfaces that are not subject to treatment in order to protect them from the undesirable effects of the liquid. Splashes on window glass should be removed immediately using a solvent (anhydrous alcohol 2-propanol).
Application: roller, brush or spray until the surface is completely saturated, re-treatment is carried out on a still damp surface, that is, the “wet on wet” method. When applying, in order to prevent the appearance of stains, make sure that the liquid is evenly and completely absorbed.
The consumption of hydrophobic impregnation SL 90/10 depends on the porosity of the treated material and the method of application, and can approximately range from 0.1 to 2.0 l/m 2 .
Works on hydrophobization should be carried out in dry weather at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C. Drying time at 20°C is no more than 24 hours, at lower temperatures drying slows down and may take longer.
Store in tightly closed original packaging at temperatures from 0°C to +35°C.
Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from fire hazard areas, away from oxidizers, acids, alkalis, and other acidic or alkaline substances.
Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
Warranty period of storage in the manufacturer's container is 12 months.
Storage beyond the date indicated on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is unsuitable. But if the shelf life is exceeded, it is necessary to check the properties of the product before use.
