Waterproofing mastic ZHKMg is two-component self-curing system consisting of rubber base and hardener.
Mastic is intended for use in the construction and repair of buildings and structures (including nuclear facilities) when performing the following work:
Surface preparation:
Before applying mastic, clean the surface of all contaminants that reduce the adhesive bond strength of the sealant and the surface and remove dust.
Mastic preparation
Before application, thoroughly mix the mastic base with the hardener in the ratio 4 parts by weight of hardener for 100 parts by weight of base (or as indicated in the passport for batch of products). For mixing, we recommend to use a slow speed drill with the mixer for viscous pastes.
WARNING! Pot life of mastic at +20°C is up to 1 hour.
COATING
Apply the mastic with a spatula, a syringe or other device. Mastic layer shall be at least 5 mm. The mastic should be applied evenly, without breaks, rolls and voids.
It is forbidden to apply mastic during rain and snowfall, if there is a danger of rainfall on the surface on which the mastic is applied.
Store the mastic ZHKMg in closed warehouse in a sealed container at a temperature from -30°C to +40°C, protected from direct sunlight.
The guaranteed shelf life in original container is 12 months.
Storage over the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean the product is unusable. In case if store more please check the properties of product before use.
Mastic is supplied in metal buckets with a capacity of 10L or 20L.
The hardener is supplied in polymer containers (with gas vent valve) with a volume of 0.5 l or 1 l.
The application of the mastic does not require special safety measures.
Detailed instructions are given in the relevant product safety data sheet. It can be provided upon request.
