Our products
Fields of application
- Two-component silicone systems and SKTN rubbers.
- Polyurethane systems, two-component adhesives and coatings.
- Esterification and condensation reactions.
- Heat and light stabilisation of polymer materials.
Benefits
- High catalytic activity with a tin content of at least 17.5%, enabling economical dosage.
- Controlled processing window followed by rapid final strength development.
- Acts as a heat and light stabiliser, including in PVC processing.
- Promotes a homogeneous elastomer free from internal defects, craters and bubbles.
Application methods
- Add directly to the polymer base under intensive mechanical mixing to ensure uniform distribution.
- For accurate micro-dosing, the catalyst may be predissolved in xylene, butyl acetate or acetone.
Application
Silicone systems: up to 1.0 wt.% of the polymer. Polyurethane systems, adhesives and coatings: 0.01–0.3 wt.%, added to the polyol component before the isocyanate.
Esterification and condensation: 0.01–1.0 wt.% at +80 to +240 °C. The optimum concentration must be established by laboratory testing for the specific formulation.
Storage
Store in the tightly closed original container in a dry, cool area. The product is cold-sensitive; its setting point is approximately +10 to +15 °C.
Safety information
- Flammable organometallic compound: use with effective ventilation away from open flame.
- Wear nitrile gloves, safety glasses and protective clothing.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes and the respiratory tract.
